I hope this message finds you well. As we transition into spring, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our recent successes and discuss opportunities for further growth and development within our association.
Our recent attendance at the Red River Basin Commission fundraising event was a significant milestone for us. Notably, we were honored to have key government figures such as Minister Lisa Naylor and Deputy Minister Ryan Klos in attendance as our associations guests. The event had many other, distinguished guests present. The evening provided invaluable networking opportunities with decision-makers at various levels, including Provincial Ministers, MLA’s, City of Winnipeg elected officials, and business leaders.
These interactions not only enhance our professional relationships but also strengthen our credibility and influence within the community.
Personally, I had the privilege of engaging with several Cabinet Ministers from our province during the event. These conversations reinforced the importance of our work and the impact we have on the
priorities identified by our executive team.
Looking ahead, I am excited about our upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 24. It presents an excellent platform for us to reconnect with our members and discuss the strategic direction of our association. Your attendance and active participation would be greatly appreciated.
As Stakeholder Relations Manager, I am committed to driving the success and growth of our organization. I believe your Executive’s support during the past year has been instrumental in having HEAT recognized as a strong contributor to the Manitoba economy.
I look forward to your feedback and the opportunity to continue contributing to the success of our association.
Best Regards,
Bruce Henley
