Our association is pleased to be able to offer an online learning portal which provides companies and contract administrators the opportunity to offer online courses for their employees or contracted persons to receive the training necessary to do their job safely and effectively. Designed for operators who are hired hourly to run loaders, graders, truckplows and sidewalk cleaning equipment, this short training program will give consistent information and guidelines on a variety of subjects including but not inclusive to:
Operators are able to take this easy to navigate orientation on computers or mobile devices. Completion of the orientation is mandatory before operating equipment for bid hourly tenders. A certificate will be issued upon completion and must be shown to a City of Winnipeg Foreman at the beginning of each shift. Paper or digital copies are accepted!
Designed for operators who perform various spring clean-up tasks for the City of Winnipeg, this Spring Clean Up Best Practices course will provide you with important information about the tasks you may be expected to perform and how to work with the additional pieces of equipment on your crew. Once you have completed this course, you will be able to:

The association’s objects and undertaking are to provide education and information to the general public, to the members of the construction industry and to the civic government bodies about the availability, use and safe operation of the heavy equipment and aggregate trucks, to develop standards for companies and persons engaged in the business of renting and contracting heavy equipment and aggregate trucks, and to provide training to the general public and in particular to persons employed to operate heavy equipment and aggregate trucks.
