Looking to increase your visibility? We offer a number of advertising opportunities which include our very popular Deskpad Calendar which will be distributed to the desks of hundreds of industry partners and HEAT Members. Your business card sits in their line of sight while they work each day! Our Website & Membership Directory are also great places to show off what you do!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsoring industry events and meetings are a great way to show your customers that you appreciate their business. Many HEAT sponsorships come with the opportunity to attend an event which gives your potential new customers the opportunity to put “a face to your name”. Our Hi-Level Sponsorship Packages let your customers know the value that you place on their business. Have your name front and center at all of our events! Packages range from $3500 (Bronze Level Sponsorship) to $10,000+ (Platinum Level Sponsorship) and include your membership fees, advertising,  event attendance and sponsorships. FAQ

General Questions

Our Contractor members are anyone who do roadwork, aggregate hauling, snow removal or related services. Our Associate members are those who provide services or whose target market is companies that do work in heavy equipment or aggregate hauling, and our Municipal membership is for cities, towns or municipalities who want to take advantage of industry resources and connect with new contractors who can provide services to them.

Memberships run on a calendar year. We don’t pro-rate, but if you purchase your membership after October 1st, , you’ll receive the balance of the current year at no extra charge, and your membership fees will apply to the following year.

No, but we assume you still want to be a HEAT member unless you tell us otherwise and will be sent an invoice in November/December for the upcoming year. You can pay by cheque, credit card, EFT or e-transfer.

Upon receiving your application, we will reach out to get any additional information we need from you and let you know how you can start benefitting right away. New members are announced in our weekly newsletter and have the opportunity to create a member spotlight profile for a future newsletter.

Reading our “Wednesday Weekly” newsletter is the best way to stay informed about what is happening with HEAT. Every week we share what is happening in the industry, offer great guest columnists and let you know what opportunities are available to you. You can also access or website at any time to learn what is new with HEAT!

We can only have one contact on the website, but you are welcome to provide additional contacts that receive our weekly newsletters – we don’t want anyone to miss out on all of the great information being shared weekly with our members.

HEAT memberships are transferable if the business is bought out or merged but are not transferable among persons who move companies.

Visibility / Advertising Questions

Yes – your online profile becomes active right away. If you purchase membership after April 30th, however your information may not make it to the printed directory until the following year. New books are delivered to you early summer.

You can! We have multiple options to advertise to our membership and beyond. Check out our advertising opportunities page for more information.
You bet! We have a fabulous Hi-Level Sponsor program that provides great exposure and lots of perks to those who take advantage of it! Learn more here. Individual event opportunities are also available.

Networking Questions

All member companies receive two complimentary tickets to our Annual General Meeting, held in March of each year. Multiple other paid and free events vary from year to year. If you enjoy golfing, you definitely don’t want to miss out on our amazing tournaments.
